Brick and Modern Design is an Arizona-based design studio working on projects of varying scale and location. The studio focuses on architectural and interior work across residential, multi-family, commercial, and tenant improvement projects, approaching design as a process of clarity—balancing spatial intent, practical constraints, and careful execution.

The practice is informed by architectural training and professional experience across a range of project types, from private residences and interior renovations to mixed-use developments and early planning studies. Work emphasizes clear communication, thoughtful planning, and drawings that support informed decision-making.

Design is understood as a collaborative effort. Each project is developed through close coordination with clients and a clear understanding of their vision, translating ideas into spaces that are functional, restrained, and purposeful.

The studio’s work is shaped by complementary backgrounds in design and education. Reneirio Minguez II, Co-Founder and Principal Designer, has a bachelor’s degree in architecture and professional experience in architectural and interior design, grounded in architectural licensure completed in the Philippines and interior design education in the United States. Novie Minguez, Co-Founder and Director, brings a background in special education, informing an inclusive and human-centered approach to spatial planning and learning environments.
